There is a need for leaders especially political leaders to champion unity, harmony, forgiveness and reconciliation.

 

Speaking during the 23rd National Prayer Breakfast held at Safari Park Hotel, Senate Speaker Rt Hon Amason Jeffah Kingi EGH highlighted the need for the nation to uphold peace, love and unity for the country’s prosperity.

 

He urged Kenyans to use the National Prayer Breakfast as an opportunity to foster deeper conversations that will promote forgiveness, reconciliation and democratic growth.

The Senate Standing Committee on Education today concluded its South Rift regional oversight exercise with an inspection visit to Nakuru County, where Members assessed the status of Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centres and Vocational Training Institutions across the County.

The Senate Standing Committee on Education has called on Kericho County to strengthen the management and infrastructure of Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centres and Vocational Training Institutions following concerns raised during the Committee’s ongoing oversight exercise within the County.
