Hon. Sammy Douglas Waweru Kamau has taken the Oath of Office as the Member of Parliament for Ol Kalou Constituency following his victory in the parliamentary by-election held on 16 July 2026.

Hon. Kamau formally assumed office as the Member of Parliament for Ol Kalou Constituency after taking the Oath of Office and signing the official Oath Register. He was accompanied by Kipipiri MP, Hon. Wanjiku Muhia and Roysambu MP, Hon. Augustine Kamande Mwafrika.

The Public Investments Committee on Commercial Affairs and Energy has raised concern over the audit queries relating to issuance of multiple imprests to staff at the Kenya Water Institute without evidence of surrender for the same.
