A Quick Response (QR) Code designed by the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) Board has been tabled in the House.

Tabling the Code, Chairperson of the Committee on NG-CDF, Hon. Musa Sirma (Eldama Ravine) noted that the initiative is aimed at strengthening accountability, reducing information gaps, and enabling citizens to monitor projects in their constituencies in real time.

According to the Board’s Ag, CEO Mr. Benjamin Magut, the QR code is more than a piece of technology.

The Departmental Committee on Environment, Forestry, and Mining chaired by Hon. Vincent Musyoka (Mwala) has deferred consideration of a public petition on the implementation of the Nairobi Rivers Regeneration Project after concerns were raised that the issues before Parliament are also the subject of active court proceedings.
