The Post-Election Seminar for the Members of the National Assembly which kicked off on Monday, 30th January, at the Pride Inn Beach Resort Convention Centre and Spa in Mombasa county, has come to a close this evening with calls on the legislators to put their best foot forward, embrace progressive democracy and deliver on their mandate exceptionally.

President Dr. William Ruto rooted for  constructive synergy among arms of government as a viable means of deploying the respective leadership capacities to address the issues that matter to Kenyans. He was speaking this morning when he opened the Post-Election Seminar for the Members of the National Assembly at the PrideInn Beach Resort, Convention Centre and Spa, in Mombasa County.

Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has challenged Members of the National Assembly attending the post-election seminar in Mombasa to undertake the process of developing legal instruments to entrench the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) into the constitution to ring fence it against the sustained attack from the never ending litigations in courts.
